Shout Loud!
As in any marketplace for hundreds of years, Fish market , Butcher, ….. If you shout, you will get attention !
These days, shops adopt a quieter approach with Illuminated signs, billboards or ‘A’ Frame signs on the sidewalk

Online, there is no limit to the number of places you can Advertise or ‘Shout’ from. You can use Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Medium and Q&A sites like Quora, Yahoo Answers and Forums.
Google Search Traffic
The aim of your “shouting” or Social posting is to get visitors to your webpages from people searching Google for information on their subject. By carrying out SEO (search engine optimisation) it is possible to rank for your ‘keywords’ and get massive traffic to your content.
Recently a thorough article from Brian Dean on Backlinko.com, showed that links are still even after 20 years one of the top ranking factors “links are STILL the best way to determine the quality of a webpage. That’s why backlinks remain Google’s go-to ranking signal”
So, go online, find on-topic articles and make a relevant comment , with a link back to your article.

How do you choose?
In the interest of remaining sane, don’t try everything at once. Maintaining 20 Social Media sites as well as blogging your articles, would be a full time job, so just go for the ones where people in your niche are hanging out. I would suggest between 3 and 6 places is probably manageable.
Once your presence is established on a Forum or Social site, you will be able to :
- repost your blog articles complete
- post summary of blog articles and link
- Comment on others articles with link
Never post an affiliate link on these Social sites it would be considered spammy. If you have a product to offer, send reader to a bridge page or article on your site first.
Try to answer questions and be helpful . That is gaining TRUST amongst the readers . Although its time consuming , long term it will serve you well.
Establishing a Presence on a Social Platform
I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to not rush this process. Join groups and platforms you know have your potential customers in, post things that help them, for at least 2 weeks, regularly and without any links. Add a link to your site after that, now and then, for a further period, then finally when your account is warmed up, you can post every time , with links.
This interlinking of content is the way to get noticed by Google and rank your articles for your keywords and topics
