When composing an image on Canva, you may want some white text but because of the background it becomes almost invisible and making it larger is not an option because of space available
Here’s a way around it. The background is the worn, white-painted brick wall, which is a terrible base for text

Here is the problem text, it really makes it difficult to read. Click on the text, then the EFFECTS tab. Choose Lift and adjust the Intensity to the high eighties
The resulting improvement makes the top line larger text readable, but the smaller text line below is still not great. One useful feature is to add a dark background box from the elements – square , change the color to black or dark grey, then reduce the transparency
